ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his wife for their life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 16.11.2019.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police has received the petitioner's representation dated 16.11.2019 on 17.11.2019 and after sending representation the petitioner has not appeared in person. He would also submit that if the petitioner appears before the respondent in person for enquiry and if it transpires that threat exists, appropriate action will be taken by the respondent.
