PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to approve forthwith the appointment of the petitioner with effect from the date of her appointment viz., 09.10.2023 and to disburse her salary with all attendant benefits from 09.10.2023 and pass such further or other suitable order / orders as this Court.

ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Professor in the third respondent college, seeking a mandamus as against the second respondent herein to approve her appointment.
2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Professor in the third respondent College on 09.10.2023. The qualification of the petitioner was approved by the University on 05.08.2024. The Management has submitted a proposal to the second respondent herein for approval of the appointment on 21.06.2024. It was returned for rectification of certain defects. Thereafter, the Management has resubmitted the proposal on 25.09.2024. The second respondent has not yet passed any orders on the proposal submitted by the third respondent Management. Hence, the instant writ petition has been filed. 2/4
3.Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the College Management and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
