This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 103 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Moondradaippu Police Station, Tirunelveli District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed on 25.09.2019 before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate and the petitioner was shown as absconding accused. The Statement is recorded.

2. Recording the same, the prayer sought for by the petitioner is infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
