PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, direction in the nature of writ to pass appropriate orders on the proposal dated 01.03.2023 submitted by the petitioner for the approval of the appointment of S.Adeline as BT Assistant (English) w.e.f., 14.03.2023 without insisting TET in terms of order made in W.A.(MD)No.354 of 2020 dated 22.06.2023 and pay arrears of salary with all consequential 1/4

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by an aided minority institution seeking a mandamus as against the second respondent to approve the appointment of one S.Adeline as BT Assistant(English) w.e.f.14.03.2023 without insisting a pass in TET examination.

2.Considering the fact that the petitioner's institution is a minority stand alone school, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the Management dated 01.03.2023 and pass orders approving the appointment of one S.Adeline as BT Assistant(English) w.e.f.14.03.2023, without insisting a pass in TET examination, if he is otherwise qualified, in case, if the proposal is still pending with the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
