Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.BALA SUBRAMANIAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.ALTHAF SHERIFF, Advocate for M/S.AJMAL ASSOCIATES on behalf of the Respondent Nos.1 & 2 and MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the 3rd Respondent, the court made the following order:- 1/3

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both side counsels submitted that during the pendency of this petition compromise has been reached between the parties and to that effect they have also filed joint Compromise Memo before this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the defacto complainant submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent police to close the complaint as mistake of fact.

3.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to close the complaint as action dropped of fact within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The joint Compromise Memo shall form part and parcel of this order. Both the parties are directed to produce the copy of the joint Compromise Memo before the respondent Police. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
