O R D E R

This criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner in accordance with the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2019 within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, proceedings have been initiated in C.S.R.No.987 of 2019 by the second respondent police. There are also other complaints pending against the petitioner and her son in respect of certain financial transactions. He would further submit that one Karunakaramarthandam has given a complaint against the petitioner and her son and that the enquiry is now being done by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagercoil in P2/SP/5818/2019. would further submit that the petitioner's representation may also be directed to be enquired by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagercoil and if it is found that the petitioner requires any protection, he may be directed to take proceedings accordance with law.

3.Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the second respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2019 to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Nagercoil, who shall conduct enquiry and take proceedings in accordance with law.
