ORDER

By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.According to the petitioner, when he presented the sale deed 19.07.2023, which is executed in his favour in respect of S.No.71/1A1 to an extent of 20.5 cents situated at Parpakulam Village, Murappanadu, Tirunelveli District, the 3rd respondent refused to register the same, citing the protest petition filed by one Meena and stating that after verifying the revenue records, the document will be registered. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 15.10.2024 to the respondents to release his sale deed dated 19.07.2023 under Doc.No.41/2023. Since the same has not been considered so far, he has filed this Writ Petition.

3.Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that if the petitioner re-present the document, the same will be registered by the authorities concerned. 2/4

4.In such view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of and the petitioner is directed to produce the document to the 3rd respondent, who in turn on receipt of the same, is directed to register the document presented by the petitioner. Such an exercise is directed to be completed within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that merely based on the objection and protest petition, the registration of the document cannot be refused by the registering authorities.
