This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.35/PKT TK PS/2023 dated 10.10.2023 seeking consequential direction to the Respondents to give permission and police protection to conduct Horse Cart Race on 18.11.2023 at about 07.00 a.m. on the road from Anaikadu Village to Thamaraikottai Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District within the Pattukottai Taluk Police Station, Jurisdiction on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 10.10.2023.

2.Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that without obtaining proper clearance from the Animal Husbandry Department, Thanjavur as well as the High Ways Department, Thanjavur, the said Horse Cart Race cannot be permitted. 4.Recording the submission, the petitioner is directed to move the representation before the concerned respondent after obtaining permission from the authority for appropriate permission. 5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
