PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from converting the petitioner's electricity service connections bearing Service Nos.061310221211 and 061310221235 from Domestic Residential Tariff to Commercial Tariff without following the due process of law and without following the rules and regulations contemplated under the Electricity Act, 2003. 1/4

ORDER
Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.
2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.This writ petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from converting the petitioner's electricity service connections from domestic tariff to commercial tariff.
4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the provisional assessment order has been issued and the penalty has also been imposed on the petitioner. 5.In view of the above said submission, this writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said assessment 2/4
order in accordance with law. The respondents are directed to provide the copy of the said assessment order to the petitioner within a period one week. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
