O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the property comprised in Survey No. 288/4, measuring an extent of 93 cents on the southern side, situated at Moorthynaickanpatti, a hamlet of Odaipatti Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that although the petitioner had submitted an online application, no action has been taken by the respondents to survey and demarcate the subject property.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that a civil dispute in respect of the subject property is pending in O.S. No. 213 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Uthamapalayam. If that is the case, the question of carrying out a survey of the subject property does not arise at this stage. However, based on the outcome of the civil proceedings, the parties are at liberty to approach the competent authorities for conducting a survey. 2/4
