This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission for Kabadi Competition day and night starting from 21.10.2023 at evening 06.00 p.m., and ends on 22.10.2023 at about 10.00 p.m., and the said match scheduled to be held on Mariamman Kovil Ground, Kalaiyapatty, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District on the basis of the petitioner's representaion dated 12.10.2023.

2.Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are two communal groups in that village and usually they conduct the above said tournament jointly. But this petitioner alone filed this petition leaving the other community people. This is the reason for the said rejection.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that they are ready to jointly conduct the above said tournament. 5.Let the joint representation be submitted by the petitioner as well as the other community people to the third respondent herein, which may be taken into consideration.

6.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
