ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 120(B), 406, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.187 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) states that it is a case of job racketing and that the victim had parted with sum of Rs.5,00,000/-. But then the money was paid only to A1. A1 is said to have received the money by mentioning the name of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.18512 of 2019 petitioner herein. A1 is absconding as on date. Unless A1 is arrested and interrogated, the trail of the money received by him cannot be established. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further states that only if A1 arrested, the petitioner's involvement will be known. I am not however inclined to dismiss this petition on the ground of abscondance of A1. The respondent is restrained from arresting the petitioner till two weeks after the arrest of A1. It is open to the petitioner herein to file a fresh petition thereafter.
