O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet filed in C.C. No.83 of 2023 on the file of District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrte Court, Thiruppuvanam.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.83 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, against the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that during the course of investigation the name of the petitioner has been deleted from array of accused by the order dated 12.06.2022. It is also submitted by the concerned Court that at the time of filing the final report this petitioner has been shown as one of the accused. Based upon which, the summon has been issued. The above said mistake was rectified by the respondent before the concerned Court. 2/4

4.In view of the above said development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of as unnecessary. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
