1to4/ACCUSED Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to condone the delay of 213 days in preferring this Criminal Revision Petition as against the order passed by the Respondent No.1 in Cr.M.P.NO.407/2018 in Spl.S.C.NO.12 of 2015 on the file of the Hon'ble I Additional District Judge(PCR) Tiruchirappalli dated 08.01.2019.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. R. ALAGUMANI, Advocate for the petitioner and of MRS.ANANDHA DEVI, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondents 1 and 2, MR.A.ARUN PRASAD, Advocate for respondents 4 to 6 and none appeared either in person or by an advocate on behalf of 3rd respondent,the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 213 days in filing the present Criminal Revision Case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.10990 of 2019 2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that due to poverty, the petitioner could not engage an advocate to prefer revision case in time. There was a delay of 213 days in filing the revision case and prayed the petition to be allowed. 3.On the side of the respondent, it is stated that legal aid is available in the Court and the reasons stated by the petitioner is not sustainable and prayed the petition to be dismissed. 4.It is seen that there is legal aid facilities available in the Court. The reasons stated in the petition are not satisfactory. But an opportunity for the petitioner is to be given to put forth his case. This petition is allowed on condition of payment of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) to the Legal Aid Services Committee, attached to this Bench, within a period of one week from the date on which the order copy made ready. 4.The Registry is directed to number the Criminal Revision Case.
