O R D E R

The petitioner is the defendant in O.S.No.268 of 2020 and he filed this Civil Revision Petition for an early disposal of the suit in O.S.No.268 of 2020, pending on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court, Dindigul within a reasonable time fixed by this Court. 2/5

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit itself is filed for declaration of the earlier decree passed in O.S.No.689 of 2000. However, the respondent/plaintiffs have unnecessarily added the parties and some of the defendants are also taking time for filing their written statements and therefore, the suit is pending for the last two years without any progress and therefore he approached this Court for a direction for an early disposal of the above suit.

3.Mr.G.Gomathai Sankar, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the petitioner himself has filed the written statement only in the year 2022 and therefore, he cannot take a plea that the trial Court is not proceeding with the trial. 4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Civil Revision Petition with a 3/5

direction to the learned Additional District Munsif, Dindigul to conclude the trial within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
