The Petitioner had filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Aadal Padal Programme on 01.01.2023 and 02.01.2023 at 06.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with Thiru Vizha of Arulmigu Sri Nanthagopalan Thirukovil at Kottur Village, Theni Taluk, 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the official Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Respondents. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) objects to conduct the said programme on 01.01.2023, which is the first day of the new year, since the Police officials will be engaged in bandobust duty. Therefore, he seeks any other date other than 01.01.2023.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the Petitioner to give a fresh representation with altered dates to the Respondent Police and confine the said programme by 10.00 pm. The Respondents are directed to consider the representation in the light of the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu. No costs.
