O RDER Mr.K.K.Kannan, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. This petition has been filed seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to drain the stagnation water in front of the petitioner's house and his street and clean the drainage system in Ward No.12, Plot No.9, Ramalakshmi Nagar, 3rd Street, Monndrumavadi, K.Pudur, Madurai, based on his complaint dated 15.10.2024.

4. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, would submit that at present, the stagnated water has been drained in the petition mentioned area and he has also produced photograph in this regard. 2/4

5. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that the Corporation should ensure that pucca drainage system is functioning and there will be no stagnation occurs in future in the petition mentioned area. No costs.
