O R D E R

When the matter came up for hearing on 24.11.2023, this Court passed the following order:

"When the matter taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, Orathanadu Taluk. On going through the same, it is seen that the Idols have been retrieved. What remains is that the respondent has not pass an order as directed by this Court in the Writ Petition. The learned Additional Government Pleader seeks for some time in this regard.

Post this case under the same caption on 15.12.2023 at 02.15 pm."

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the Revenue Divisional Order has already submitted a report to the District Collector, Thanjavur and that the District Collector, Thanjavur, will pass final orders and the same will be informed to the petitioner.

3.Recording the above, there shall be a direction to the District Collector, Thanjavur, to pass final orders and inform the same to the petitioner on or before 12.01.2024.

4.This Contempt Petition is disposed of in the above terms. 5.Post this case under the caption "for reporting compliance" on 22.01.2024.
