PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to pay the pension under the head of family Siddha medical practitioner pension scheme forthwith.

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Siddha Doctor, claiming benefits of financial assistance under G.O.Ms.No.290, dated 12.09.2022.

2. According to the learned Additional Government Pleader, as per the said Government Order, only 110 persons have been identified for the said benefits. The petitioner has made a request to the 4th respondent herein, for seeking the above said benefits. The 4th respondent has forwarded the files to the 3rd respondent, who in turn forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent. 2/4

3. In view of the above said facts, the 4th respondent herein is directed to consider the request of the writ petitioner and if found eligible, the files shall be forwarded to the 3rd respondent herein within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gvn 3/4
