ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Senior Assistant working in the Miscellaneous Group of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to migrate him from Miscellaneous Group to Working Group on considering his representation dated 12.06.2024.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the Writ petitioner, the petitioner was initially appointed as a Helper in the TamilNadu State Transport Corporation in the year 1998, on compassionate appointment. At the time of appointment, the petitioner was having +2 qualification, later, the he had completed B.Com., degree. According to the petitioner, he is eligible to migrate from Miscellaneous Group to Working Group based upon his educational qualification. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 12.06.2024. Since, the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2024, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
