O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in Joint Patta No. 1559 in respect of property in Natham Survey No. 380/2A4A of Sindhalavadi Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District by removing the wrong entry by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 07.10.2024. 2.By consent of both parties, considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials on record.

4.The petitioner is the owner of the land of 3 cents out of 6 cents in Natham Survey No.380/2A4A of Sindhalavadi Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District. He has been issued with joint patta (joint patta No.1559) along with one Kandhasamy, S/o. Arumuga Pandaram. While the petitioner 2/5

was verifying the computer patta, he noticed that his name was mistakenly replaced and the name of one Thirupathi, S/o.Govindhasamy was entered. Immediately, the petitioner gave a representation on 07.10.2024 to the second respondent to remove the wrong entry. As no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner moved this Court by way of filing the aforesaid writ petition.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, at the time of hearing submits that steps have already been taken to correct the wrong entry in the computer patta. Therefore, reasonable time may be given to make the correction.

6.Considering submission of the learned Government Advocate and the fact that the respondents admitted that wrong entry was made in the computer patta, a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to correct the computer patta within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

7.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
