ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay the 50% of the family pension and arrears of family due from the date of death of the petitioner's father viz., (Late) P.K. Muhamed Sultan Bawa.

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

From the communication of the third respondent dated 12.02.2024, it could be seen that the proposal of the fifth respondent dated 12.05.2023 had been forwarded to the first respondent and the same is to be considered by the first respondent. Hence, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the proposal of the fifth respondent dated 12.05.2023 in Na.Ka.No.523/2023/H1, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
