JUDGMENT

This appeal has been filed to set aside the Judgment and Decree in M.C.O.P.No.1478 of 2017, dated 15.02.2019, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, (I Additional District and Sessions Judge), (PCR), Thanjavur.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant produced the copy of the Lok Adalat Award passed in M.C.O.P.No.1478 of 2017 on the file of the I Additional District Judge, Thanjavur. On 09.03.2024, it is submitted by name that pending C.M.P. (MD)No.1938 of 2020, the matter was referred to the Lok Adalat by the District Legal Service Authority and it was settled for a sum of Rs. 20,50,000/-.

3.In view of the above said settlement before the Lok Adalat this civil miscellaneous appeal itself is dismissed as infructuous. 02.08.2024 Index :
