ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to consider the request of the writ petitioner for grant of appointment on compassionate ground.

2. The petitioner's father, who was working as Sanitary Worker in the 2nd respondent Town Panchayat had died in harness on 22.03.2019. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 07.01.2021, which is yet to be disposed off.

3. Considering the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.01.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
