This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.10.2023 under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

2.There is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.472 of 2023 was registered for the offences punishable under Section 4A (1a) of Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959, 18.10.2023.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
