ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.238 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.238 of 2021. He would further submit that investigation is almost completed and that they are going to file a charge sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks one month time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the 2/4

investigation and file charge sheet in Crime No.238 of 2021 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
