Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Dr.C.Gunaseela Rupan, learned counsel takes notice for the third respondent. 1/3

The limited scope of the writ petition is for a Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent to comply with the order of the first respondent dated 25.10.2018 in Na.Ka.No.53417/2018/OOi. 1, dated 25.10.2018 and pass necessary orders based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2018.
3. The order of the first respondent dated 25.10.2018 is with respect to constitution of a 'Thiruppani Committee' for the purpose of conducting 'Kumbabeshekam' of Arulmigu Sedal Mariyamman Temple, Woraiyur, Trichy District and the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2018 is also for constituting a 'Thiruppani Committee' for the purpose of collecting donations to conduct 'Kumbabeshekam' of the above mentioned temple.

The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent has produced a communication from the third respondent Executive Officer to the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Trichy dated 29.11.2019. It says that the third respondent temple is a scheduled temple as per Section 46(II) of the HR & CE Act, and the last Kumbabeshekam was performed on 13.06.2003 and it is now more than twelve years. A budget was drawn for the repair and renovation works at Rs.9.70 lakhs and for providing new stone flooring at Rs.8.30 lakhs and the Executive Officer, the third respondent had also identified the donors, who are about seven in number as mentioned in the above letter for the repair and renovation work of different 'Sannathies' in the temple.

As the request of the petitioner has already been redressed by the action taken by the Executive Office and communicated to the Joint Commissioner, there is no necessity for constituting a 'Thiruppani Committee' at this point of time. 6.In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
