Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent, particularly the second respondent would conduct an inquiry over the insertion the name of 5th and 6th respondents in the UDR Patta No.983 over the land in S.No.157/2 to the extent of 4 Acres is situated at Akkiampatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District and remove their name and consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2023. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The second respondent is directed to conduct inquiry and pass order on merits and in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall put on notice to the interested parties including the private respondents herein before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

3. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
