Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1, 2 and 6 to take suitable action in accordance with law against the Respondents 3 to 5 based upon the complaint preferred by the Petitioner regarding the corporal punishment given to the Petitioner's daughter namely K.Kayalvizhi, VII-B in the 3rd respondent school and intimidation thereafter.

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner's daughter is studying in the third respondent school. Since the child was subjected to corporal punishment, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3.After hearing the learned counsel on either side and also going through the materials on record, I am satisfied that a small issue has been blown out of proportion. I would request the fourth respondent not to take anything personally. The learned counsel for the fourth respondent assures the Court that the fourth respondent has the best interest of the child at heart and no other consideration.
