PETITIONS FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of BNSS COMMON PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime Nos.278, 279, 280, 277, 281 of 2024 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.
COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following common order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.10.2024 and was caught red handed by the general public that she had stolen 600 sovereigns of gold jewellery, for which, the First Information Reports that were registered in Crime Nos.278, 279, 280, 277 and 281 of 2024 of 2024 for the offence under Section 303(2) of BNS, 2023, by the respondent Police, seeks bail.
2. The petitioner is the sole accused in all these cases. The petitioner was also found to have involved in other cases of theft of gold jewellery.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the proclivity of the petitioner to indulge in acts of theft and considering the fact that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody only on 17.10.2024, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 2/3
