ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner without following due process of law, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 29.11.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that one Muthupandi lodged a complaint against the third respondent with regard to the sale of Innova Car and that while enquiring the third respondent, he has named the present petitioner and on that basis, the petitioner was directed to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry, but the petitioner has not turned up.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent police.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police and on such appearance, the second respondent police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
