PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to intiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/respondent and punish him for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.6176 of 2019 dated 27.04.2019.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for violation of order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.6176 of 2019 dated 27.04.2019.

2.When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that though this Court directed the respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order, the respondent was unable to file the final report in time and the delay is not intentional. However, in due compliance of the order dated 27.04.2019, passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.6176 of 2019, the respondent has filed final report and the same has also been taken on file in S.C.No.01 of 2020 by the Special Court, Thoothukudi District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
