ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to direct the fourth and fifth respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of numerous similar complaints repeatedly lodged by the sixth respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 3.Perused the materials placed on record.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submit that the petitioner is a regular offender. He would also submit that in respect of fourth respondent police there are two cases pending against him for offences under forgery and cheating and in respect of complaint given by the sixth respondent, one case is pending in fifth respondent police for the offences under forgery and cheating.

5.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
