ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(ii) of IPC, in C.C. No.156/2016, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner is arrayed as an accused in C.C.No.156 of 2016, on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506 (ii) of IPC.

3. The petitioner was absent during the trial in C.C.No.156 of 2016, on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District. Therefore non bailable warrant came to be issued on 15.03.2019.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a petition to recall the NBW issued against him. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders on the same day.
