ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to file charge sheet in Crime No.225 of 2021 on the file of the respondent within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.225 of 2021 and that the investigation is almost completed and they are going to file a charge sheet shortly. Hence, he seeks two weeks time to file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to file charge sheet in Crime No.225 of 2021 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
