The Petitioner had filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent and requested him to grant permission for conducing Karthigai Pongai Thiruvizha festival followed by cultural programs including the dance program (Adal Padal) schedule to be at 06.00 p.m., on 07.12.2022 at Arulmigu Sri Malairaman Thirukovil at Malaippatti Village, K.Pothampatti, Madurai District. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the official Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Respondents. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) objects to the date of the event stating that the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu intended visit to 2/4

southern districts on 08.12.2022. Therefore, the Police officials will be on bandobust duty from 07.12.2022 onwards. Further, he submits that the Petitioner may give a fresh representation with an altered date, which is subsequent to the programme of the Hon'ble chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. 5.In the light of the above, the Petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation with an altered to the Respondent Police. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
