ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to issue Non-traceable Certificate for the petitioner's sale deed documents on the basis of the complaints dated 04.12.2021 and 25.11.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondents police for missing of his original sale deed documents bearing Nos.1148 of 1989 dated 18.12.1989 and 2197 of 1992 dated 14.10.1992 which were situated at Kottaipatti Village, Virudhunagar in Survey No.519/2 and Rosalpatti Village, Virudhunagar in Survey No.108/3 respectively. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made paper publication with regard to the missing of original documents. 2/4

Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the petitioner, after ensuring the said documents have not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
