For petitioner : Mr.C.Jawahar Ravindar For R1 and R2 : Mr.S.Manikandan Government Advocate (crl.side) 1/4

O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent Police not to interfere in the civil dispute.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the properties in dispute originally belong to the petitioner's father and his father has executed a gift settlement deed in favour of the petitioner. However, one Gopal, who is the neighbouring land owner, has created a forged document as if the petitioner's father has executed the sale deed in favour of him and issued a lawyer notice. Challenging the sale deed, the petitioner has filed a suit. When the suit is pending, the brother of the said Gopal has attempted to trespass into the petitioner's property and cut Karuvela trees in the property. In this regard, the petitioner has also given complaints before the respondents Police, however, the respondents Police, instead of taking action against the said Selvam, are threatening the petitioner and illegally interfering with the civil dispute. Hence, this Petition has been filed.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent 2/4

Nos.1 and 2 Police submits that the respondent Nos.1 and 2 Police will not interfere in the civil dispute, however, if any complaint is filed by the petitioner, the same will be enquired into in the manner known to law.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
