ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and her husband, namely, Praveenkumar and her family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. Mr.S.Vijayan, learned counsel takes notice for the third respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner is the wife of the third respondent, that 2/4

their marriage was already dissolved and that subsequently, the third respondent has lodged a complaint for returning of Thali Chain.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though ex-parte divorce was granted, the third respondent has not taken any steps for setting aside the same till now.

6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that since ex-parte divorce was granted and the petitioner is now residing with one Praveenkumar, the second respondent police is taking steps to close the enquiry.

7. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 05.12.2022 Index :
