ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing direction to the 2nd Respondent to give police protection for life of the petitioners based on the complaint, dated.10.10.2023 within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioners, enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, both sides appeared before the respondent police and gave an undertaking that the issue is with regard to ancestral property and hence, they will work out the remedy through civil Court process.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in respect of the property issue suit in O.S.No.88 of 2021 is pending before the Sub Court, Kumbakonam.

4. Let the parties work out the remedy in the pending suit itself. It may not appropriate on the part of the respondent police to interfere 2/4

with the civil matters.

5. With the observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
