ORDER
The present petition is filed to quash impugned charge sheet in CC.No.699 of 2020 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai, in FIR No.10 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 403, 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC read with 109 of IPC Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2.Pending this petition, the parties have entered into a compromise before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and a settlement agreement, dated 12/01/2024 was entered into by the parties. It seems that the parties were living as a joint family with the in laws. It is agreed between the parties that they would form a separate nuclear family with the petitioner and the defacto complainant by leaving out the in laws and they have also agreed to withdraw all the cases. 3.Based on the settlement agreement, dated 12.01.2024, this Court is inclined to quash the impugned charge sheet and the impugned charge sheet is quashed. The settlement agreement, dated 12.01.2024, shall form part and parcel of this order. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
