ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to constitute the special team to investigate case in Crime No.286 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent police by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2022 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on 21.07.2022 at 10.00 p.m., in the place near Kappalur Toll Gate one unknown vehicle came in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against the petitioner's husband, due to which, he died on the spot, that 2/4

thereafter, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.286 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 279 and 304(A) IPC and that the petitioner gave a representation dated 15.09.2022 before the respondent police to find about the unknown vehicle, but no action was taken so far.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that they are taking necessary steps to identify the vehicle.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2022 and take necessary action within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 06.12.2022 Index :
