ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner from the third respondent.
2. The petitioner has lodged complaint against the third respondent his erstwhile Manager for non payment of his salary for which he had lodged complaint. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner was called directly over phone and threatened. Against which he had sent representation seeking production of his life and limb. The respondent police had not acted upon the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2024, against which the present petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner was employed with Eagle Envitech in Tirunelveli. He was appointed in October 2022 as Project Executive with agreed salary of Rs.4.80 lakhs per annum. The petitioner was employed till December 2023 and January 2024. No salary was issued to the petitioner. Therefore the petitioner on 12.01.2024 informing the company had stopped attending work hence he was demanding the salary for December 2023 and January 2/5
2024. The third respondent had called the petitioner in his mobile and threatened him for lodging complaint with the Assistant Commissioner of Labour.

It is seen that the the petitioner has sent the complaint to the first and second respondents and the first respondent forwarded the same to the second respondent which was received by the second respondent and C. No.43726 of 2024 assigned. Today the third respondent was summoned for enquiry and the enquiry was posted to 19.11.2024.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submit that the petitioner undertakes to appear for enquiry on 19.11.2024 and participate in the enquiry.
6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as on date there is no threat to the petitioner and if there is really any threat the respondent police would act according to the requirement of the situation. 3/5
