(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to supply safe drinking water to the two streets in W. Pudhupatti, namely, R.C. Street and Thiru. V.K. Street, under Thamirabarani Integrated Drinking Water Project, by considering his representation dated 25.10.2022.

Heard Mr.P.Siva Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Alleging that R.C. Street and Thiru. V.K. Street, in W. Pudhupatti are purposefully not included under the 2/4

Thamirabarani Integrated Drinking Water Project to supply drinking water, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 25.10.2022, and the same, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, remains as such. Hence, the Writ Petition. 4.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, fairly submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.10.2022, would be considered sympathetically for supply of drinking water and a decision would be taken within a period of four weeks. 5.

Recording the said submission of the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
