O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to change the existing electricity tariff of the 1/4

petitioner's building constructed in Survey No.604/2B1, Elumalai Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District from temporary connection to permanent / regular and additional load, as per the provisions of the Electricity Rules.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard Mr.S.Siva Ilayaraja, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the first respondent.

4. Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to produce the Completion Certificate from the Panchayat Board, Tax Assessment Certificate and necessary documents before the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to change the existing electricity tariff of the petitioner's building constructed in Survey No.604/2B1, Elumalai Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District from temporary connection to permanent / regular and additional load, as per the provisions of the Electricity Rules, within a period of four weeks thereafter. 2/4
