Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order of the respondent, dated 26.10.2022 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to effect name transfer of the Demand Collection Register (Miscellaneous Demand Register) as tenant for the property in Survey No. 144/3 Mekkudi Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and register the petitioner as the tenant in the respondent temple records.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order, dated 26.10.2022 and consequently direct the respondent to effect name transfer of the Demand Collection Register (Miscellaneous Demand Register) as tenant for the property in Survey No. 144/3 Mekkudi Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District and register the petitioner as the tenant in the respondent temple records.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted that if the Petitioner files a fresh representation, the same shall be considered by the Respondent. It is also submitted that they intend to come up with a public auction in the last week of December 2022.

3. In view of the same, the Petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation before the Respondent on or before 07.12.2022. On receipt of such representation, the Respondent shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 14.12.2022 after affording a reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and other stake holders/interested parties, if any.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
