Heard Mr. M.Maharaja, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Subbaraj, Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the First to Third Respondents and Ms.M.Aasha, Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), takes notice for the Fourth to Sixth Respondents and perused the materials placed on record apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2/4

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to permit the petitioner and other community people to participate in the "Kalandhu Uraiyadal" held on 06.12.2022.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, states that as the function that was proposed to be conducted on 06.12.2022 did not take place, the relief sought in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. In that backdrop, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioner, if he has any further grievance, to work out his rights before proper forum in the manner recognized by law and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarification. No costs.
