ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No. 68 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent police station to any other independent agency or officer under the direct supervision of the Superintendent of Police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) would submit that it is case relating to theft of jewels. She would also submit that investigation is going on in a proper manner, since there is a discrepancy in the complaint it is difficult for them to proceed effectively.

3.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.68 of 2019 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible and file final report. Further the first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
