ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and provide police protection for conducting the Kodai Festival on 16.09.2025 and 17.09.2025, in pursuance of the festival of Sri Mutharamman Thirukovil and Ujjainai Mahakaali Amman Thirukovil situated at Ilayanainarkulam Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the respondents will favourably consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.08.2025, and pass orders regarding the grant of permission within a week.

3. Recording the above submission, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on or before 15.09.2025.

4. In view of the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
