Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is holding an Indian passport. He is presently at Dubai. The passport is going to expire shortly. However, a criminal case is pending against him in Crime No.87 of 2022. It is still pending at the FIR stage. There is no impediment for renewing the petitioner's passport. The petitioner can move the Indian High Commission at Dubai. The petitioner's passport shall be renewed accordingly subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities. 3.This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
